Tonight's homework is to simply get ready for the spelling test tomorrow morning. The vocabulary on the test is on page 6 of the Homework Cycle Booklet. Your child should also review The Daily Verbs on page 10. My spelling test is graded as follows:
- Spell the word correctly = 2 points.
- Know either the synonym or easy definition = 7 points.
- Spelling and definition of the 10 words = 90 points.
- Write 4 SVO sentences from the Daily Verb exercises (2.5 points per sentence) = 10 points.
Make reviewing a fun game. Have your wife or husband ask a word while you and child compete. Beating Dad is always fun!
